This session is dedicated to addressing the unique considerations of sports-related joint injuries in people with bleeding disorders (PWBD). It covers the relationship between sport participation and injuries, providing insights into preventive measures, and discussing the delicate balance between muscle strengthening, and the potential bleeding risks associated with such activities. The session will conclude by exploring musculoskeletal challenges in the context of novel therapies, emphasizing the importance of finding a balance between innovative treatments and maintaining physical activity for optimal rehabilitation and successful return to play.
