Bleeding disorders have a significant impact on the physical, mental and social well being of PWBD and their families. Managing the disorder on a daily basis requires enhanced coping skills for the patients and the families alike. This session aims to present a broad overview of the various types of coping mechanisms PWBD and their family members employ while living with a chronic condition and discuss the strategies and skills that can be implemented toward improving them with professional help and support.
