Trained in Hematology at Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai which is an International Haemophilia training centre.
Have worked in leading hospitals like HCG Cancer centre and Appolo Hospitals, Bangalore before moving to the State run Premier Medical College- Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute (BMCRI) where I am faculty since February 2010.
Established the First Formal Department of Clinical Hematology in Medical Colleges in the State of Karnataka.
Presently Professor and Head of Department of Clinical Hematology and Center for Coagulation Disorders & Comprehensive Hemophilia Care, which is the Nodal Center for the hemophilia programme in Karnataka state,India. Has numerous publications to her credit and actively participated in academic and research activities.
