Novie Chozie is a pediatric hematology-oncologist, working at the Pediatric Hematology-oncology Division, Department of Child Health Science, Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital/Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia. She graduated from Faculty of Medicine Universitas Indonesia as a general practitioner in 1994, pediatrician in 2005, pediatric hematology-oncology consultant in 2011, and doctorate degree in 2016 with the dissertation topic of low dose prophylaxis for hemophilia children. She has been actively involved in hemophilia care since 2005 and volunteered as medical board member of Indonesian Hemophilia Society (IHS). The role as Vice Chair Medical of IHS was started in 2011 and currently she is the President ad interim of IHS per December 2023, after the passed of former president Prof. Djajadiman Gatot, MD. Hemophilia national guidelines in Indonesia was established in 2021 by the Indonesian Ministry of Health after submission from the medical organisations (Indonesian Pediatrics Association, Indonesian Association of Hematology and Blood Tranfusion) together with the IHS. Dr. Novie Chozie is also the Head of Hemophilia Comprehensive Care Team at Dr. Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital.
