National Bleeding Disorders Foundation
St. Louis, United States
I was born and raised in St. Louis, Missouri and I am a senior in college at the University of Colorado - Denver obtaining my bachelor's degree in political science. I have aspirations to become a lobbyist specializing in healthcare policy once I graduate. My passion for advocating for vulnerable populations began in the bleeding disorders community when I learned how to be a voice for those who were unable to advocate for themselves. I now work on a number of state and federal policies that help patients beyond just the bleeding disorders community, but all chronic conditions.
Outside of my career aspirations, I also love to hike, white water raft, watch and play soccer, spend time with my family and friends, and travel! I am also involved with my national member organization's National Youth Leadership Institute, which is an internship that allows me to travel around the United States to work on advocacy issues pertaining to the bleeding disorders community while also getting to meet the most incredible people.
