Dr. Karen Strike currently works as an advanced practice physiotherapist in the bleeding disorders program at McMaster Children's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She completed her degree in Kinesiology, her Masters in Physiotherapy, and her PhD in Rehabilitation Science at McMaster University. Karen is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) at McMaster University and a part-time faculty member at Mohawk College. Dr. Strike’s principal research areas include best practices for the assessment and management of the musculoskeletal implication of a bleeding disorder, point of care ultrasonography, patient engagement and physiotherapy scope of practice. Dr. Strike is faculty and a founding member of the McMaster University Mohawk College POCUS Training Program
