Jeffrey Kallberg is a Doctor of Physical Therapy who has specialized in the management of hemophilia and bleeding disorders including the use of musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging. He holds the position of Assistant Professor at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and is cross appointed as Assistant Professor/Clinical at the University’s Long School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics where he provides clinical services at the South Texas Hemophilia Treatment Center . Jeff also is adjunct faculty at the University of California San Diego Hemophilia Treatment Center’s Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Training program. He earned his BS in Physical Therapy from the University of Minnesota in 1994, completed his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of South Dakota in 2016 and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas Health Science Center's School of Health Professions. He has over 20 years of experience providing physical therapy to individuals who have hemophilia and bleeding disorders. He is involved in research using ultrasound to assess joint damage in the hemophilia population. Dr. Kallberg lives with severe hemophilia himself.
