Dr Mann is a British(UK) Board Certified & USA Fellowship trained Trauma & Orthopaedic Foot & Ankle Surgeon. He is also an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the Royal Free and at University College London Hospital Medical School UK.
Following completion of an Orthopaedic Doctorate in Medicine (M.D.) at the Department of Trauma & Orthopaedics at the Royal Free titled “Haemophilic Arthropathy", he then went on to complete six years of Postgraduate Higher Surgical Trauma & Orthopaedic Training. During this time he rotated through Barts & The Royal London Hospitals, Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore and Great Ormond Street Hospital for sick children. Dr Mann undertook Fellowship Training in the United States of America in 2009-2010 at the Institute of Foot & Ankle Reconstruction, Baltimore, Maryland. During his time in Baltimore, he also underwent a visiting fellowship at one of the largest dedicated Trauma facilities in the USA - Shock Trauma Centre - University of Maryland Medical Centre. Other visiting fellowships have included France, Holland, Germany, and Switzerland
He has published extensively on bleeding disorders affecting joints and foot and ankle treatment and management. He has presented at learned societies both nationally and internationally. He is actively involved in training of surgeons, junior doctors and medical students. In addition, he remains passionate about research and development. His clinical and research interests include Trauma, Ankle cartilage preservation, Arthroscopy, Sports injuries, Neurological Foot disorders & Ankle Replacement Surgery.
