Tatjana Markovic is the Vice-President of the Serbian Haemophilia Society. Tatjana has been in this position for the past 12 years. She has been an active member of the association since its establishment.
Tatjana is the author and coordinator of five projects for the empowerment of people with bleeding disorders. She has also been the organizer, speaker and moderator of a large number of workshops, training courses, lectures, camps and webinars with a focus on advocacy and patient empowerment.
She has been a member of the EHC Women and Bleeding Disorders Committee since 2017 at its establishment. Before this, she was a strong voice to support and empower women in the bleeding disorder community. She was a catalyst for creating the EHC Women and Bleeding Disorder Committee.
Internationally, Tatjana is involved with the World Federation of Hemophilia in their twinning programme and a WFH DGP Committee Member.
She is the mother of four, including an older son with haemophilia A. She is herself affected by this condition.
Professionally, Tatjana is a teacher.
