Michael Wang, MD, is a pediatric hematologist dedicated to advancing knowledge and innovation on caring for patients with bleeding and clotting disorders. He completed medical training at the University of Rochester, residency at the University of Utah, and fellowship at the University of Colorado, where is currently a Professor of Pediatrics. As the Director of the University of Colorado Hemophilia & Thrombosis Center, he leads a multidisciplinary team that combines clinical care, health care delivery improvement, patient engagement, clinical trials, teaching, and research. Dr. Wang and his team have embraced the challenge of translating the use of novel medicines into clinical care while continuously striving to improve clinical outcomes through scientific investigation, focused quality improvement, and partnership with patients in their communities.
