Dr. Branislav Bajkin is a full professor at University of Novi Sad, Faculty of Medicine, Serbia, where he is currently engaged as Vice Dean for PhD studies. He is a doctor of dental medicine, medical doctor and specialist in Oral Surgery. He has been employed at Dental Clinic of Vojvodina since 2002.
He has been involved in dental treatment of medically compromised patients including persons with hemophilia and allied disorders from the beginning of his career. He published several articles in peer-reviewed journals related to oral surgery in patients with bleeding disorders and in those taking anticoagulant and antithrombotic agents. He has completed training in dental care for persons with hemophilia at the Royal Infirmary (Glasgow, UK) and Dublin Dental University Hospital (Dublin, Ireland) in 2017. He is a Vice Chair of Dental Committee World Federation of Hemophilia.
