Niamh Larkin is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Haemophilia in the National Coagulation Centre (NCC), St James Hospital, Dublin 8. Niamh has over 20 years’ experience in haemophilia care, predominantly working with patients with severe haemophilia receiving home treatment. Since completing her MSc in 2010 she has qualified as a nurse prescriber in 2013 and completing a post grad certificate in Advanced Practice in 2017. In 2020 Niamh commenced in the Advanced Nurse Practitioner role developing nurse led clinics for home treatment patients, rapid access clinics and being involved in nurse led research projects. Niamh has particular interests in patient self-management, patient-centred care and promoting the role of the haemophilia nurse.
